Making a lampshade
Bring your own fabric or choose one at the workshop and leave with a unique creation! During this workshop, you will learn the professional techniques of lampshade designers: calculating templates, laminating the fabric onto the polyphane, gluing onto the hoops and the rolled hem finishing technique.

Craftsmanship only has meaning if it is shared. The goal of these sessions is to share some of my expertise with you in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. It's the perfect opportunity to disconnect from everyday life, work with your hands, and leave with the immense pride of saying:

Who are these courses for?
To absolutely everyone! Whether you are a DIY enthusiast or have never held a rake or a horsehair puller in your life, you are welcome.
How does the support process work?
I will be there to guide you step by step, at your own pace. The number of places per workshop is intentionally limited to very small groups so that I can provide personalized support to each of you. All the necessary technical equipment is provided on site.
The history of these workshops
As you know, here at my workshop in Saint Pierre en Port, my primary passion is restoring your antique chairs and crafting bespoke lampshades to illuminate your interiors. Every day, I work with beautiful fabrics, webbing, horsehair, and chair frames, always with the same sense of wonder for handcrafted work.
